In 1995, Barbara and David Wiedenheft introduced Afternoon Tea to the Channel Bass Inn. Chef Kristan and Bill Allman have continued the tradition adding their American Culinary flair to the experience.

Afternoon Teas are available Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 2pm to 3:30pm for $35 per person. Our teas are served in four courses. We start with serving our hot tea. We serve a collection of Tea from around the world. Choices include, a black tea, such as Yorkshire Gold and a flavored Tea option as well such as Pomegranate Green Tea or Chamomile Mint Tea. The first course is our Savory Canape’ Assortment consisting of a variety of four small flavorful appetizer sandwiches. The second course is our Scone Course, featuring our almost famous Scones with butter, jam and fresh whipped cream. The third course is our dessert course, which include a choice of one of two selections, from a selection of a variety of pies, cakes, brownies and cookies baked fresh with love in our kitchen. We wrap up the experience with something light, like a minted fresh fruit or a frozen delight like our Granita, Semifreddo or Sorbet. Vegans, Vegetarians and Gluten-Free diets are welcome, just please let us know in advance so we can prepare accordingly as all items are hand-crafted in our kitchen with the freshest ingredients by our Culinary Team.
