Kristan and William Allman are the new owners and Innkeepers of the Channel Bass Inn. They are family people, and have moved to the island on the heels of Kristan’s parents who are island residents. Chincoteague was a family vacation destination for Kristan and her family. Kristan and William loved the lifestyle so much on their visits that they decided to finally meet a life long dream of business ownership and living on the island, knocking off two life long dreams in one, actually. The Allmans’ are coming from the food service corporate world and bring 65 years of combined hospitality, service, and culinary leadership to the Inn. They are hands-on owners who will oversee every aspect of the Inn’s operations. Kristan is the President and CEO of course! William is the Senior Executive Assistant, don’t call him the Secretary, please.
Our goal is to provide a tranquil setting for our guests to enjoy the many splendors of our beautiful Chincoteague Island. Each guest is coming to our home and will be treated with the kind of attention that is reserved for our family. When our guests arrive we want them to leave their troubles at the door and step into a world of comfort and rest. Finally, Local is a core value for us, and we intend to partner with the local community in every aspect possible including local, seasonal foods, supporting local businesses by purchasing their products. As owners we intend to see that every attention to detail and service will be provided at every visit to the Channel Bass Inn while supporting the island community.
